Flip Spot – A Parkour Adventure That Requires Physical Skills
Each jump in Flip Spot starts off as a challenge for you. This physics-based parkour game provides a wide range of controls and gradually growing stunts to perform. You should not only aim at jumping to the next platform but also perform an amazing trick and land successfully.
Two modes of playing are available in this game. Arcade Mode offers levels with a gradually increasing difficulty which will allow unlocking of harder tricks and more ambitious challenges for you. The second mode, Free Mode, is a good choice if you want to train and experiment with no restrictions as to completion of any level.
Construct the Best Stunt
The most fascinating moment comes in the air after launching from a platform. You will have only a couple of seconds to maneuver in the air and determine the number of flips and rotations you would like to perform. By adding several tricks, you can compose a better stunt and earn more points; however, each additional trick will complicate the process of landing.
Balancing between ambition and skills is key to success in Flip Spot. Even the most spectacular stunt is worthless if your character lands on the platform in the wrong position. Learning when to stop the rotation is crucial as well as performing the first trick. If everything goes wrong, you can always replay the stunt.
Take Control Midair
The control system in Flip Spot is easy, which allows one to play easily while providing enough space for development:
- Spacebar / W / Up Arrow: Jump and flip
- R: Repeat the level
- Esc: Pause the game
As the control system is simple, the complexity of the game is related to momentum, timing, gravity, and landing angles.
Explore Different Locations and Tricks
In Flip Spot, there are three main backgrounds with different platform heights and landing zones. The day/night versions of those locations make the location atmosphere different but do not affect the gameplay. With the stronger jumps and new air tricks, one can try something harder and riskier.
There are more than 70 combinations of tricks that one may try. The player can combine flips and rotations, find different launch points, use longer air sequence, etc.
